Winter is without doubt the best season to photograph the wonderful birdlife that can be found at Arundel WWT and there is no-one better to assist you in producing breathtaking images that multi award-winning professional photographer, Robert Canis. At Arundel, bird numbers swell, they are in beautiful post-breeding plumage and the light at this time is absolutely ideal for photographers as the sun is always low in the sky, revealing textures and enhancing the colours of the wildfowl.
The day will be a combination of classroom presentations and in-the-field photography. Robert will discuss such things as exposure, iso, white balance, focusing modes, using flash, reading the histogram, viewpoint and composition. Robert will also tackle the thought process behind his own images and is keen to impart his extensive knowledge and experience so that at the end of the day, you not only have a much clearer understanding of your camera’s controls but leave full of inspiration and keen to put into practice the many ideas, hints and tips that Robert has given you.
